Plans for upcoming Individual Assignments.

       The major task for my second part of the individual assignment is mostly to find an upper class or graduate student in the business department on campus.  Since I Major in Economic, the role model should be studying the same major. The student should be interviewed by me in the subject of giving good exemplar advises on how to succeed in college; how to find good on and off campus job easily; how to build a good portfolio to get an internship in my future years; and to explain the importance of participating in campus events; competitions; project and activities to acquire strong skills.

       Thirdly, this assignment is set for me to create a personal business plan. Thus will help me to think clearly on what I should do and where I am going in the creation of my business. It emphasizes a good organization so that I can remain on track with everything as well as to make myself aligned on the current and future plans for the business.

       The fourth assignment is opted to be the practice to build a professional business network. For that I will need to attend an event approved by the instructor, outside class during the semester and provide a fully well discussion of that particular event. Everything should be formatted and post on my personal blog.

        This last part of the assignment will be to give a good personal reflection on one of the guest speakers we had in class. I personally will give a critical discussion on the lecture given to us by Sandra E. Taylor in which I found her speaking very interesting. The discussion should alternatively be formatted and post on my personal blog.

Guest Speaker Reflection.

For this fall semester, we have managed to be lectured by several different guess speakers in our Business class. For example, professor Sandra Taylor who shared her knowledge about the international business environment; Professor Jim Pierson who explain to us the real importance and necessity of Accounting in the business world and many more. The most captivating guess speaker to me was Professor Kip Soteres ( click here for the LinkedIn page. ) who managed to elaborate, to us students, the immense essentialism of communication in the business environment or simply in our daily life. Professor Soteres is the CEO of Soteres Consulting; an organization that plans and implement communication for corporates, HR, employees, and internal communication. He is also the Adjunct professor of corporate communication at Chatham University and teaches graduates courses in communication. Role Model

Role Model: Anthony Cooper.  Role Model: Anthony Cooper.  Anthony Cooper. I chose Anthony Cooper because he is part of the Chatham Business School and Department, and he is a person that shows admiring characteristics and qualities when it comes to communicate with his other people among the Chatham community and that is how I easily met him. Anthony Cooper is a Sophomore student at Chatham University Majoring in Economics. Originally from Fairview, Pennsylvania; he was adopted by the Coopers in 2004. He has a Doctor and a University Professor as parents. Anthony Cooper chose Chatham University reason because it is a small campus field in the city and also because he was granted full tuition scholarship.
